Class 12 PSEB Board Exam 2026 Begins; Check Timings

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has commenced the Class 12 board examinations 2026 from February 17, 2026. The annual examinations will continue until April 4, 2026. As per reports, over 2.5 lakh students are appearing for the senior secondary examinations across 2,366 examination centres in Punjab for the academic session 2026–27.

PSEB Class 12 Exam 2026: Shift Timing and Entry Rules

The PSEB Class 12 exams are being conducted in a single morning shift:

• Exam Timing: 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM
• Duration: 3 hours
• Entry Closing Time: 10:30 AM

Students will be provided with a 15-minute reading time before the commencement of the examination to carefully review the question paper. Candidates arriving after 10:30 AM will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.

Candidates appearing for the PSEB Board Exam 2026 must follow these important instructions:

• Carry a printed copy of the PSEB admit card, duly signed by the school principal. Digital copies will not be accepted.
• Wear the proper school uniform as prescribed.
• Bring necessary stationery including blue/royal blue ballpoint pens.
• Carry only a transparent water bottle.
• Do not bring mobile phones, calculators, or electronic devices, as they are strictly prohibited.
• Avoid wearing smartwatches or other digital gadgets, as they may be confiscated.

Board officials have urged students to reach the examination centre well in advance and strictly adhere to the prescribed rules to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations. With large-scale arrangements in place, the Punjab board is aiming for a fair and disciplined examination process across all centres.
