On April 4, 2026, Chatrabhuj Narsee School in Amanora became a vibrant hub of creativity and community engagement as it hosted its eagerly awaited Easter and Spring Carnival. Organized by the PTA for the academic year 2025–26, this event attracted nearly 1,500 visitors, transforming the school grounds into a lively fairground filled with excitement and joy.
The carnival was officially inaugurated by Chairman Sujay Jairaj and Principal Shruti Kotian, who kicked off the festivities with a unique and engaging “Eggbuster” ribbon-cutting ceremony. This creative opening saw children emerging from oversized decorative eggs, dressed as butterflies and sunflowers, which captivated the audience and set a whimsical tone for the day.
A Diverse Range of Activities
With over 50 stalls offering a rich variety of entertainment, food, and interactive experiences, the carnival catered to all ages. One of the standout attractions was the “Paint the BMW” activity, organized in collaboration with Bavaria Motors. This innovative initiative drew enthusiastic participation from both children and adults, allowing them to express their creativity in a fun and engaging way.
In addition to this, renowned brands such as Domino’s, Cult, and NIC Ice Cream joined local home bakers to provide a delightful culinary experience for attendees. The variety of food options available added to the festive atmosphere, ensuring that there was something for everyone.
Empowering Young Entrepreneurs
A key highlight of the carnival was the “Kidpreneurs” initiative, which showcased the entrepreneurial spirit of 40 students who successfully managed 16 stalls. This hands-on experience allowed them to learn valuable lessons in entrepreneurship and financial literacy. Their hard work and creativity were recognized with medals presented by school leaders and PTA members, celebrating their achievements and encouraging future initiatives.
Exciting Easter Egg Hunt
Another thrilling aspect of the carnival was the massive Easter egg hunt, featuring over 5,000 eggs hidden across the school grounds. This exciting activity ensured that children of all ages had a memorable experience, filled with joy and laughter as they searched for the colorful eggs.
The event was supported by sponsors such as Mediqua Korea and Indus Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., with additional support from co-sponsors Enrich Solar and PJR Odyssey. Their contributions were instrumental in making the carnival a resounding success and highlighted the spirit of collaboration within the community.
