The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will close the registration window for the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026 today. Candidates who wish to appear for the national-level design entrance test must submit the CEED 2026 application form before the deadline ends. The registration process for CEED 2026 began on October 1, 2025, and will conclude with regular fees on October 31, 2025. Interested applicants can apply through the official registration portal at ceed.iitb.ac.in.
CEED 2026 Registration Deadline
After the regular fee deadline, candidates can still apply by paying a late fee of ₹500 till November 7, 2025.
CEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements before submitting the CEED 2026 form:
- Candidates should have completed a bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, fine arts, or engineering (four-year or equivalent).
- Students appearing in the final year of such programs in 2025–26 are also eligible.
- There is no age limit to apply for CEED 2026.
- Applicants can appear for the exam multiple times.

The registration fee varies for different categories. The payment can be made only in online mode using debit/credit cards or net banking.
CEED 2026 Exam Date and Schedule
IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED 2026 examination on January 18, 2026 (Sunday). The test will be held in two parts — Part A (computer-based) and Part B (subjective). The question paper will evaluate candidates’ design aptitude, visual perception, creativity, and analytical skills. The CEED 2026 admit card is expected to be released in early January 2026
