CEED 2026 Registration Open: Eligibility and How to Apply?

The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026 notification has been released by IIT Bombay. Candidates can register online from October 1 to 31, 2025 through the official portal ceed.iitb.ac.in. The exam will be conducted on January 18, 2026, for admission to M.Des programs at participating institutes.

CEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following conditions to apply for M.Des programs through CEED 2026:

  • Age Limit: No restriction
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed or be appearing for a degree, diploma, or postgraduate program of at least three years after Class 12, or passed GD Arts diploma (10+5 level) by July 2026
  • Number of Attempts: CEED can be attempted any number of times

 

Steps to Apply for CEED 2026

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete their CEED 2026 application:

  1. Online Registration: Click on the registration link on ceed.iitb.ac.in. Fill in basic details like name, email, date of birth, and mobile number. An applicant account will be created.
  2. Eligibility Check: Enter details of qualifying exam, passing year, and mobile number to verify eligibility.
  3. Fill Application Form: Complete three sections of the form: personal, academic, and contact details. Select three exam cities in order of preference.
  4. Upload Documents: Upload photograph, signature, and qualifying exam certificates in the prescribed format.
  5. Pay Application Fee: Confirm that the application form is complete, then pay the fee online using net banking, credit, or debit card.
