CEED 2026 Registration Last Date Extended to November 5; Apply Online

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has officially extended the registration deadline for the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2026. Candidates can now submit their applications with the regular fee till November 5, 2025, while the late-fee window remains open till November 10, 2025. The CEED 2026 exam will be conducted on January 18, 2026 from 9 AM to 12 Noon, as per the official schedule available on the IIT Bombay portal — ceed.iitb.ac.in.

Who Can Apply for CEED 2026?

Before applying, aspirants must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by IIT Bombay:

  • Must have completed or be appearing for a three-year degree/diploma/postgraduate programme after 10 + 2.
  • Candidates with a GD Arts diploma (10 + 5 level) by July 2026 are also eligible.
  • There is no age limit and no restriction on the number of attempts for CEED.

 

How to Fill CEED 2026 Application Form?

Candidates can apply for CEED 2026 only through the official registration portal. The step-by-step process is as follows:

  1. Registration: Visit ceed.iitb.ac.in and register using a valid email ID and contact number.
  2. Check Eligibility: Verify that the academic and category requirements are fulfilled before proceeding.
  3. Fill Application Form: Enter academic, personal, and contact details carefully.
  4. Upload Documents: Attach scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).
  5. Pay the Fee: Complete payment online using the available payment methods.
  6. Final Submission: Review the application, submit it, and download the confirmation page for future reference.

 

CEED 2026 Exam Pattern Overview

The exam will be held in two parts — Part A and Part B:

  • Part A (Computer-Based Test): Includes NAT, MSQ, and MCQ-type questions.
  • Part B (Pen-Paper Test): Evaluates creativity, visualisation, drawing skills, and problem-solving ability.

The total duration is three hours, and both parts are compulsory
