CEED 2026 Draft Answer Key Comment Window Closed; Final Key Soon

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has closed the comment window for the CEED 2026 draft answer key after the deadline passed. Candidates who took the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) were able to submit comments against the provisional answers through the official portal during the stipulated period. ([turn0news0][turn0search14]) The CEED exam, held on 18 January 2026, saw the draft answer key for Part A released on 19 January 2026, and candidates had until 22 January 2026 to submit their concerns or objections. All submissions will now be examined by the authorities. ([turn0search14])

Next Steps: Final Answer Key and Result

With the comment submission period now over, IIT Bombay will review all feedback and make necessary corrections, if any. After this process:

  • A final answer key will be released, likely on 28 January 2026 as per schedule.
  • The final key will be used to prepare the CEED 2026 result and cut-off for admissions.

Students should routinely check the official CEED website for updates on the final key release and subsequent result announcement.

How the Answer Key Affects Admission?

The CEED score is a crucial metric for admission to M.Des and related postgraduate programmes at IITs and other participating institutes. Candidates typically use the released answer key to estimate probable scores and identify areas for improvement before results are declared. Once the final answer key is published, it will serve as the basis for official result computation and ranking. For detailed updates and timelines, exam takers are advised to refer to ceed.iitb.ac.in and related official communication channels.
