The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the CDS 1 Final Result 2025 on its official website, upsc.gov.in. A total of 365 candidates have been selected for admission to various defence academies after the written examination and SSB interview.
CDS 1 2025 Top Performers
The top three ranks in the CDS 1 final result are:
- AIR 1: Chirag Gaur
- AIR 2: Arya Umesh Dharmatti
- AIR 3: Satya Prakash Tiwari
The final merit list was prepared based on marks obtained in both the written examination and the SSB interview. The results of the Medical Examination were not considered while preparing the merit list.
Academy-Wise Selection
The candidates have been qualified for the following academies:
- Indian Military Academy (IMA): 2560 candidates cleared written test
- Indian Naval Academy (INA): 942 candidates cleared written test
- Air Force Academy (AFA): 636 candidates cleared written test
The final number of qualified candidates includes those who successfully passed the SSB test conducted by Army Headquarters.

Post-Result Process
The marks of candidates will be made available after the declaration of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) results for CDS (I) 2025. Selected candidates are required to submit documents and complete further selection formalities before joining their respective academies.
