The CDAC C-CAT 2026 examination for the February batch has concluded on 10 and 11 January 2026. The test was held in multiple shifts with fixed section-wise timings across centres in India.

CDAC C-CAT 2026 Exam Concluded; Schedule and Exam Day Guidelines as the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing has successfully completed the Common Admission Test for the February 2026 academic batch. The computer-based examination was conducted over two days across multiple test centres nationwide. The exam was held for admission to various PG Certificate programmes offered by CDAC.

 

CDAC C-CAT 2026 Exam Dates and Mode

As per the official schedule, the CDAC C-CAT 2026 was conducted on 10 January 2026 and 11 January 2026. The examination was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode at designated CDAC examination centres across India. Candidates appeared for the exam in morning and afternoon shifts over the two-day testing window.

 

CDAC C-CAT 2026 Shift Timings and Section Schedule

The C-CAT 2026 exam followed a structured format with three mandatory sections to be attempted in a fixed order. Candidates were allowed short breaks between sections as per the prescribed guidelines. The morning shift commenced at 9:30 AM, while the afternoon shift began at 2:00 PM. Section A was conducted from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the morning and 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the afternoon. Section B followed from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM in the morning and 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM in the afternoon. Section C concluded the exam from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the morning shift and 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the afternoon shift. Candidates were required to complete all sections sequentially without skipping the prescribed order.

 

CDAC C-CAT 2026 Exam Day Reporting Guidelines

Strict reporting guidelines were followed at all examination centres. Candidates were required to carry one printed copy of the C-CAT 2026 admit card along with a valid original photo identity proof. Accepted ID proofs included Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence. The use of soft copies of the admit card was not permitted at the exam centre under any circumstances.

 

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates were advised to reach the examination centre well before the reporting time to complete verification and security checks. Compliance with all exam day instructions was mandatory to ensure smooth conduct of the test. Further updates regarding result declaration, rank list, and counselling schedule for CDAC PG admissions are expected to be announced separately on the official CDAC platforms. Candidates are advised to regularly check official notifications for the next steps in the admission process.
