The Central Board of Secondary Education confirmed the change through an official update issued in late December 2025. The revision applies to select subjects only, while the remaining exam schedule remains unchanged. The decision has been taken to ensure smooth conduct of examinations and to avoid administrative overlap during the board exam period.
