The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the city intimation details for candidates appearing in the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 (DRQ 2026). The exam will be conducted for various Group A, B and C vacancies under the CBSE recruitment drive.
This city intimation slip provides candidates with advance information about the city allotted for their examination, helping them plan travel and accommodation ahead of time before the admit card release.
City Intimation Slip Release Date and Exam Schedule
CBSE released the public notice on 15 January 2026 announcing the city intimation slip details. The slip will be available for download from 17 January 2026 onwards on the official website cbse.gov.in. The Direct Recruitment Quota Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted between 31 January and 1 February 2026.
What the City Intimation Slip Contains?
The city intimation slip (also called Advance Information for Allotment of City of Examination) provides:
- Allotted exam city and state
- Scheduled exam date for the candidate
- Candidate’s registration/application details
Candidates should note that the city slip does not serve as the admit card. The official admit card with complete exam centre address, reporting time, and shift details will be released separately later, expected in the fourth week of January 2026.
