CBSE Postpones Class 12 Exams 2026 in Middle East Till 16 March

CBSE has postponed Class 12 board exams scheduled from 12 March to 16 March 2026 in several Middle East countries due to safety concerns. The board will review the situation on 14 March 2026 before deciding on further examinations.
CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026 scheduled in several Middle East countries has been postponed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. According to the official circular, exams planned between 12 March 2026 and 16 March 2026will not be conducted as per the earlier schedule.
The decision applies to CBSE Class 12 examinations scheduled in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The board stated that the step was taken after reviewing the current situation in the region and prioritising the well-being and safety of students.
Countries Where CBSE Class 12 Exams Are Postponed
The postponement affects CBSE-affiliated schools located in several Middle East countries. Students studying in these regions will have to wait for revised examination dates.

CBSE Review of Situation on 14 March 2026
The board has confirmed that the situation will be reviewed again on 14 March 2026. Based on the review, CBSE will decide whether the remaining examinations scheduled after 16 March 2026 will proceed as planned or be rescheduled.
The board emphasised that students should regularly check official announcements and updates from their schools regarding the revised timetable.
Earlier CBSE Exam Postponement in Middle East
Prior to this announcement, CBSE had already postponed the Class 12 examinations scheduled on 09 March, 10 March, and 11 March 2026 in the same Middle East countries.
With the latest decision, all examinations scheduled between 12 March and 16 March 2026 in these regions have also been postponed. The board will announce new exam dates after reviewing the situation and ensuring that examinations can be conducted in a safe and stable environment.
Students appearing for the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2026 in these countries are advised to stay updated through official school communication and CBSE notifications for further instructions regarding the revised schedule.
