CBSE Offers 5 Free Facilities for Class 10 & 12 Exam 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is providing several free services to help students prepare for the Class 10 and 12 board exams 2026. The Class 10 exams are scheduled from February 17 to March 9, 2026, while Class 12 exams will conclude on April 9, 2026. Approximately 4.5 million students will appear for exams in 204 subjects across India.

CBSE Free Facilities for Board Exam Preparation

To assist students, CBSE has launched five major services on its official websites, which can be accessed without any fees. These tools are designed to make exam preparation easier and more structured.

1. Previous Years’ Question Papers

CBSE has released previous years’ question papers for both main and compartment exams. These papers help students understand the exam pattern, types of questions, and difficulty levels. Practicing these papers allows students to plan their studies efficiently and identify important topics.

2. Sample Papers and Marking Scheme

The board has released subject-wise sample papers and marking schemes on http://cbseacademic.nic.in. These help students familiarize themselves with the new exam pattern and distribution of marks, making preparation more targeted and focused.

3. Question Bank

CBSE provides free question banks for a variety of subjects, including Business Studies, Physical Education, History, Sociology, English, and Mathematics. Additionally, an extra practice question bank has been made available for students seeking more exercises.

4. Model Answers

To help students understand how to structure their answers, CBSE has released subject-wise model answers on its website. These are available for the years 2019 to 2024 and guide students on writing accurate and well-formatted responses.

5. Syllabus Access

CBSE has also released the updated syllabus for both Class 10 and 12. This allows students to identify what to study and what to skip, helping them save time and focus on important topics.

How to Access CBSE Free Facilities?

Students can easily access these resources by following the steps below:

  1. Visit the CBSE official website: www.cbse.gov.in.
  2. Go to the “Board Examinations” tab on the homepage.
  3. A list of available features and exam-related resources will appear.
  4. Select either Class 10th or Class 12th, then choose the desired subject.
  5. Download the PDF files for reference or take a printout for offline study.

These free tools provided by CBSE ensure that students can prepare effectively, understand exam patterns, and practice with confidence ahead of their board exams 2026.
