The Central Board of Secondary Education has released an important notice for candidates applying to KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025. The notice highlights that the qualification criteria for posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) are different, even when the post names appear similar. Because of this, candidates will find multiple qualification options in the dropdown menu while applying online.
The Board has advised applicants to read the recruitment notification thoroughly before submitting the form. According to the notice, candidates must ensure that their qualifications match exactly with those mentioned for the specific post and organisation. They should select the correct qualification only after verifying the details in the official notification.
CBSE Clarifies Fee Payment Issues
The notice also addresses the concerns raised by applicants about fee payment updates and failed transactions. If the fee status does not get updated on the portal, candidates will need to make the payment again. In such cases, the amount deducted in the earlier failed payment will be automatically refunded to the candidate’s bank account within a week.
The Board has also issued additional instructions regarding the skill test and eligibility for the assistant engineer post, urging candidates to follow the notification strictly.
KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025: How to Register
Candidates applying for teaching and non-teaching posts can follow the steps below to complete the registration:
Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE, KVS or NVS.Step 2: Click on the KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025 link on the homepage.Step 3: Register and fill out the online application form.Step 4: Submit the form and download the confirmation page.Step 5: Take a printout for future reference.
CBSE has also clarified that no relaxation or interpretation of qualifications will be allowed. The qualifications listed in the official notification are final and must be met exactly.
Recruitment Drive Details
The recruitment process for KVS and NVS began on 14 November 2025, and the registration window will remain open until 4 December 2025. A total of 14,967 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. So far, over 11 lakh candidates have registered for the exam.
