The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official schedule for the submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. The notification also covers the web module for Children With Special Needs (CWSN) seeking exemptions and the submission of examination forms for private candidates.
CBSE LOC Submission 2025: APAAR ID Relief for Schools
In response to concerns raised by schools, CBSE has introduced partial relaxation for APAAR ID (Academic Performance Assessment and Reporting ID) submission. Many schools had reported difficulties such as integration issues between portals, discrepancies in Aadhaar-linked records, delays in corrections, and a lack of parental consent. To address these challenges, CBSE has directed schools to:
- Mark entries as “REFUSED” if parents deny consent for generating APAAR IDs.
- Use “NOGEN” if APAAR IDs could not be generated due to technical or administrative reasons.
- Ensure APAAR IDs are provided for all other students.
The board clarified that these measures are designed to prevent delays and ensure error-free LOC submission.
Key Dates for CBSE LOC and Exam Form Submission 2025
CBSE has released a detailed timeline for LOC submission, CWSN exemption requests, and private candidate form submission. All deadlines will close at 11:59 PM on the respective dates.
CBSE Guidelines for Schools and Candidates
CBSE has urged schools to carefully follow the circulars and instructions issued to avoid errors in submissions. Schools facing difficulties have been advised to contact their respective regional offices for timely resolution. The structured timelines are expected to streamline the examination process for the 2026 board exams, ensuring compliance with CBSE regulations and reducing last-minute discrepancies.
