The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative CBSE date sheet 2026 for Class 10 and Class 12 students on the official website, cbse.nic.in. The CBSE board exams 2026 are scheduled to begin from February 17, 2026, for both classes. Phase 1 of Class 10 exams will be held between February 17 and March 9, 2026, while Class 12 exams will continue till April 9, 2026. Phase 2 of Class 10 exams is optional and will be conducted from May 15 to June 1, 2026, mainly for students wishing to improve their scores or clear compartment subjects. Exams will be held in pen-and-paper mode. The final date sheet will be released after submission of the final list of candidates (LOC) by schools.

Phase 2 exams for Class 10 will include Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Languages from May 15 to June 1, 2026, also covering compartment exams for students needing to improve or clear failed subjects.
