- Lost Spring – Theme of the vicious cycle of poverty and stolen childhood of Saheb and Mukesh
- The Last Lesson – Concept of linguistic chauvinism and the importance of language
- Deep Water – Psychological process of overcoming fear
- The Rattrap – Theme of humanitarian kindness and redemption
- The Enemy (Vistas) – Moral conflict between patriotism and humanitarian duty
These chapters are frequently used for extract-based questions, short answers and long descriptive responses in the literature section.
CBSE Class 12 English Paper Analysis and Answer Key 2026
