CBSE Board 2026 Admit Card Updates; Private Students Hall Ticket Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the admit cards for private candidates appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. These hall tickets are essential for entry into exam centres and contain key details such as roll number, exam schedule, and venue information.

CBSE Board Exam Admit Card Release – Private Candidates

CBSE has published the board exam admit cards for private students on its official website. Candidates who registered as private applicants can download their individual hall tickets by visiting the board’s portal and entering their registration details, such as application number and password. Private candidates should ensure that all details on the downloaded admit card, including name, subjects, exam dates and centre address, are correct. Any discrepancy must be reported to the CBSE helpdesk before the exam date.

Regular Students: Admit Cards via Schools

While CBSE has released admit cards for private students, regular students are currently advised to collect their hall tickets from their respective schools. School authorities will download the admit cards from the CBSE portal once they are made available and distribute them to students before the board examinations. Education reports indicate that the regular admit card release usually occurs a few weeks before the start of board exams. Based on past trends, the release is often in late January or early February 2026 for regular candidates.

CBSE Board Exam 2026 Schedule

The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for the academic year 2025–26 are scheduled to begin from 17 February 2026 onwards. Students must carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre on all exam days.
