This year, the overall pass percentage dropped to 85.20%, compared to 88.39% recorded in 2025. Soon after the result announcement, many students took to social media platforms to express disappointment over lower marks, stricter evaluation, and unexpected score reductions in several subjects. CBSE Supplementary Exam 2026 Details

CBSE will conduct the Class 12 supplementary examinations from July 15, 2026. Students placed in the compartment category or those wishing to improve marks in one subject will be eligible to apply online. The online LOC process for supplementary exams will begin from June 2, according to CBSE updates.
