- Specific subject requirements for JEE (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) apply.
- No upper age limit for JEE Main. (Standard rule)

Exam Pattern & Gaps
- The CBSE 12th board exams are scheduled between February and April, and JEE Main Session 1 is expected before the board exams to avoid a clash.
- Experts advise students to use the gap between exams for revision and consolidated preparation.
Preparation Tips
- Focus on boards and the entrance exam syllabi simultaneously.
- Use the gap after boards (for those writing JEE later) to sharpen problem-solving and mock tests.
