CAT 2026 Application Fee

3. Enter the required basic details and complete OTP verification.
4. Log in using the User ID and password received on the registered email ID.
5. Fill in Class 10, Class 12 and bachelor's degree details.
6. Enter academic achievement details, wherever applicable.
7. Provide eligible full-time work experience completed up to July 31, 2026.
8. Select the preferred IIM programmes and interview cities.
9. Upload the required documents and photograph/signature as specified.
10. Pay the applicable CAT 2026 application fee.

CAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for CAT 2026 must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, the minimum required marks are 45%. Final-year undergraduate students can also apply, subject to the prescribed conditions.

There is no upper age limit for appearing in CAT 2026. Candidates with professional degrees such as CA, CS or ICWA may also apply if they meet the prescribed eligibility requirements.

CAT 2026 Exam Date and Admit Card

After the registration window closes, candidates will be able to download the CAT 2026 admit card from the official website. The admit card is scheduled to be released on November 4, 2026.

The CAT 2026 exam date is November 29, 2026. The examination will be conducted by IIM Indore in three sessions at test centres across India.
