The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 is a pivotal examination for candidates aspiring to pursue MBA programs in India. Scheduled for November 30, 2025, the exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode. 1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)

2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

  • Number of Questions: 22

    • Data Sufficiency

 

3. Quantitative Ability (QA)

  • Number of Questions: 22
  • Duration: 40 minutes

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern

  • Total Duration: 120 minutes
  • Total Questions: 68
    • MCQs: 48
    • Non-MCQs (TITA): 20
  • Marking Scheme:
    • Correct Answer (MCQ): +3 marks
    • Incorrect Answer (MCQ): -1 mark
    • Correct Answer (TITA): +3 marks
    • Incorrect Answer (TITA): No negative marking

 

CAT 2025 Registration Process

To register for CAT 2025:

  1. Visit the official website:iimcat.ac.in
  2. Click on "New Registration."
  3. Fill in personal details: Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number.
  4. Complete the CAPTCHA verification.
  5. Log in using the credentials sent to your email.
  6. Fill in academic and professional details.
  7. Upload required documents:
    • Recent passport-sized photograph
    • Signature
    • Category certificate (if applicable)
  8. Pay the application fee:
    • General/OBC/EWS: ₹2,600
    • SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,300
  9. Submit the application form.
