CAT 2025 Scorecard Details and Performance Metrics

The CAT 2025 scorecard will include essential performance data that institutes use during MBA admissions. Scorecards typically present overall performance as well as section-wise outcomes, helping both candidates and institutes evaluate relative performance. Details expected on the CAT scorecard include:

• Overall CAT percentile
• Section-wise percentiles
• Scaled scores
• Candidate registration number and exam date

Percentiles are calculated after applying the normalisation process across different exam slots to ensure fairness. These percentiles influence eligibility for next stages of the MBA admission process at IIMs and participating institutes.

CAT 2025 MBA Admission Process Following Result Release

Once the CAT 2025 result is officially declared, Indian Institutes of Management and other participating management institutes will begin their shortlisting process for admission to MBA/PGP programmes. Each institute uses CAT score, academic records, and additional selection criteria to shortlist candidates for further rounds. Typical components of the MBA admission process after CAT 2025 result include:

• Written Ability Test
• Group Discussion
• Personal Interview

Institutes may also consider work experience and diversity factors while preparing final merit lists. Shortlist announcements and interview schedules are expected to follow result declaration.

What Candidates Should Prepare After Scorecard Release?

After the CAT 2025 scorecards become available, candidates should monitor updates from IIMs and other institutes regarding cut-offs, shortlists, and interview timelines. Preparing necessary academic documents and planning for interview stages can improve readiness for the selection process. It is important to note that meeting minimum percentile criteria does not guarantee admission, as final selection depends on cumulative performance in all stages of the MBA admission journey.
