CAT 2025 Result Announced, Delhi Tops 100 Percentilers List

CAT 2025 result has been officially announced by the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Along with the result, detailed data highlighting state-wise toppers distribution and percentile statistics has also been released. Candidates can now download their CAT 2025 scorecards from the official website and use them for admission to IIMs and other participating institutes. The Common Admission Test 2025 was conducted on November 30, 2025, with nearly 2.6 lakh candidates appearing out of approximately 2.95 lakh registered applicants.

IIM Kozhikode has shared official data on the state-wise distribution of candidates who secured 100 percentile in CAT 2025. The distribution shows representation from both metro and non-metro states. The state-wise breakup of 100 percentilers is provided below.

This distribution highlights the wide geographical spread of top-performing candidates in CAT 2025.

 

CAT Result Date 2025 and Scorecard Validity

The CAT 2025 result was declared in December 2025. The scorecards issued will remain valid for admissions to the IIM 2026–28 batch and other management programmes accepting CAT scores.

 

Candidates are advised to download and preserve their CAT scorecards carefully, as they will be required during shortlisting, interviews, and counselling rounds.

 

Next Admission Stages After CAT 2025 Result

After the declaration of CAT 2025 results, participating institutes will begin the next phase of the admission process. Both IIMs and non-IIM institutions will release their individual shortlisting criteria. Shortlisting for further rounds will be based on multiple parameters, including:

  • CAT 2025 score
  • Academic profile
  • Work experience
  • Diversity factors

Following the result, the 22 IIMs are expected to announce their shortlists for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview rounds. In addition, around 93 non-IIM institutions will accept CAT 2025 scores for admission to their management programmes this year.
