CAT 2025 Registration Live: Closes 13 Sept, Exam on 30 Nov, 2025

The Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) registration is currently open, with applicants urged to complete their submissions well before the deadline. IIM Kozhikode, the exam’s conducting body this year, will close the application window at 5 PM on 13 September 2025. Registration for CAT 2025, the national MBA entrance test, is currently underway. The deadline to apply is 13 September 2025 at 5 PM. The exam is scheduled for 30 November 2025.

 

CAT 2025 Registration Window and Fee Structure

Candidates can register for CAT 2025 via the official portal, iimcat.ac.in, from 1 August 2025, 10 AM IST, up to 13 September 2025, 5 PM IST. The application fee is INR 2,600 for General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates, and INR 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD applicants. The fee is non-refundable.

Exam Format, Eligibility, and Requirements

A quick overview of CAT 2025’s format and candidate prerequisites:

  • Exam Date: 30 November 2025, across three shifts in around 170 cities nationwide.
  • Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT) featuring VARC, DILR, and Quantitative Aptitude sections.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC, ST, PwD). Final-year students are eligible to apply.
  • Documents Required: Applicants must upload a passport-size photo, signature, class 10 and 12 mark sheets, graduation certificate, and any applicable category or PwD certificates.
