CAT 2025 Exam Analysis highlights that IIM Kozhikode conducted the Common Admission Test today across India. CAT 2025 Exam Analysis shows that all three slots were moderate in difficulty. Over 2.95 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance exam.
The test was held in three slots at more than 350 centres in 170 cities. All sections followed a similar pattern as last year, with some variation in difficulty.
CAT 2025 Slot-Wise Exam Review
IIM Kozhikode conducted the first slot from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Candidates described Slot 1 as easy to moderate. VARC had the highest weightage for Reading Comprehension. QA was dominated by Arithmetic-based questions.
Slot 2 ran from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. This session was moderately difficult. Many candidates found DILR slightly more time-consuming. VARC continued to focus on RC-based questions, while QA maintained balance across arithmetic and algebra.
Slot 3 was held from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The overall difficulty remained moderate. Candidates reported familiar question patterns and a similar structure to Slot 1 and Slot 2.
CAT remains one of India’s most competitive MBA entrance tests. The exam score is accepted by more than 1,600 B-Schools. Top IIMs generally require 95–100 percentile for shortlisting.
