Question 2: Determine the smallest possible value of h + m such that (1134)^h is divisible by 168 and (168)^m is divisible by (1134)^h.

 

Question 3: A deposits ₹22,000 in a bank offering 4% interest compounded semi-annually for six years. B invests an unknown amount in the same scheme for five years and then reinvests the accumulated amount in another bank at 10% simple interest for one year. If both A and B receive the same total amount after six years, determine the sum invested by B.

 

Question 4: The cubic equation x³ + (2r + 1)x² + (4r – 1)x – 2 = 0 has one root equal to 2. If the remaining roots are real, find the smallest non-negative integer value of r.

 

Question 5: A certain amount of coffee is removed from a cup and replaced with cocoa powder, forming Mixture P. The same amount of this new mixture is again replaced with cocoa powder, forming Mixture Q. In Mixture Q, the ratio of coffee to cocoa powder is 16:9. Determine the ratio of cocoa powder in Mixture P to that in Mixture Q.
