The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA Intermediate and CA Foundation January 2026 results on 08 March 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check and download their scorecards through the official ICAI result portal. Along with the results, ICAI has also released the pass percentage and All India Rank (AIR) toppers list for both examinations.
CA Intermediate Jan 2026 Pass Percentage and Exam Statistics
ICAI has published the detailed pass statistics for candidates who appeared in Group I, Group II and both groups together. The overall success rate remained relatively low for candidates attempting both groups. The pass percentage details are provided below.
The overall pass percentage for both groups stood at 9.39%, reflecting the challenging nature of the CA Intermediate examination.
CA Foundation Jan 2026 Pass Percentage
ICAI also released the gender-wise pass statistics for the CA Foundation January session. The overall pass percentage saw a rise compared with the previous session. The Foundation exam statistics are listed below.
Overall, 19.23% of candidates cleared the CA Foundation exam in the January 2026 session.
CA Intermediate Jan 2026 Toppers List
ICAI has released the All India Rank holders for the CA Intermediate exam. The top rank was secured by Kanhiya Lal with an impressive score. The top three rank holders are listed below.
Kanhiya Lal secured the top position with 508 marks out of 600, achieving a score of 84.67%.
CA Foundation Jan 2026 Toppers List
ICAI has also released the merit list for CA Foundation candidates. Female candidates dominated the top ranks in the examination. The top rank holders are listed below.
Logapriya P P secured the top rank with 366 marks out of 400, achieving 91.50% in the CA Foundation examination.

Candidates can access their results through the official ICAI portal using login credentials. The steps to download the scorecard are listed below.
- Visit the official ICAI result website – icai.nic.in.
- Click on the link for “CA Intermediate Result January 2026” or “CA Foundation Result January 2026.”
- Enter the registration number and roll number.
- Fill in the captcha code displayed on the screen.
- Click on submit to view and download the result.
