CA Foundation Passing Marks 2026

Candidates should understand the qualifying requirements while checking their CA Foundation result. Under the standard ICAI passing criteria, a candidate must secure at least 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in aggregate across the papers to pass the examination.

Meeting the minimum aggregate alone is not sufficient if the candidate does not obtain the required minimum marks in an individual paper. Candidates should check the marks displayed on their result and refer to the applicable ICAI examination regulations if they need clarification about their qualifying status. The result itself will determine whether a candidate has passed the September 2026 attempt. Candidates who do not qualify should consult ICAI's official announcements for guidance on the next examination attempt and registration requirements.
