Eligibility Criteria for BSEB Sent-Up Exam 2025-26

To appear for these Sent-Up exams:

• Students must be enrolled under BSEB for Class 10 or Class 12 in their respective schools.
• The Sent-Up exams are mandatory: students who do not appear or fail the Sent-Up exam may be ineligible for the final board exam.
• Additional school-level requirements (such as attendance, internal assessments) may apply as per the board’s rules (mentioned in the full notification).

The process is mainly school-managed since Sent-Up exams are conducted in affiliated schools on behalf of BSEB. Key steps for students:

1. Schools receive the schedule and organise theory + practical exams.
2. Students check the subject-wise date & shift (morning/afternoon) from the timetable.
3. Attend the exam in the given shift. For example: 9:30 AM–12:45 PM (morning), 2:00 PM–5:15 PM (afternoon) for many papers.
4. After the exam, students and schools can download question-paper PDFs and answer-key PDFs from relevant portals/news portals for practice.

Here are some key highlights of the pattern and structure of the Sent-Up exams for 2025-26:

• Each exam is conducted in two shifts: First shift ~ 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM; Second shift ~ 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
• Mode: Offline (pen-and-paper) for theory papers.
• Question structure (example for Class 12 Science stream): Theory + Practical (Labs). For Class 10 too: format similar to the final board.

• After the Sent-Up exams, question papers & answer keys are released (unofficial ones immediately, official ones by December 2025). Students can use these to evaluate their performance.
• Students who pass the Sent-Up exam become eligible to sit for the Final Board Exams (for 2026) under BSEB. The Sent-Up exam thus acts as a qualifier.
• Schools will then handle the final board exam registrations, admit cards, etc, for eligible students.
