The Bihar government has officially launched the Medhasoft portal to facilitate online applications for the BSEB Scholarship 2025. Students who passed the Class 10 or Class 12 BSEB exams 2025 with first or second division are eligible to apply under various Chief Minister Incentive Schemes.
The initiative can promote higher education and financial independence among students belonging to General, SC/ST, Backward, Extremely Backward, and Minority communities.
BSEB Class 10, 12 Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Criteria and Categories
The scholarship is only available for students who completed their matric (Class 10) or intermediate (Class 12) education under BSEB. Students must fulfil the following eligibility criteria prescribed by the Bihar School Examination Board to receive financial assistance:
- Must have studied under the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).
- Must have secured a first or second division in the Class 10 or 12 exams held in 2025.
- Applicants must belong to eligible categories such as General, SC/ST, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Classes, or Minorities.

Medhasoft Portal 2025: Application Process and DBT Integration
The Medhasoft portal is developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and is now live for students who wish to submit their scholarship applications.
Funds will be credited to students' bank accounts after verification through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism. Students are advised to ensure their bank details, Aadhaar linkage, and other credentials are accurate while registering.
