BSEB Class 12 annual examinations for 13,17,846 students concluded on 13 February 2026 at 1,762 centres across Bihar. During the exam cycle, 71 candidates were expelled for unfair practices and 14 impersonators were arrested across multiple districts. The exams were held from 2 to 13 February 2026 under strict supervision.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) concluded the Class 12 (Intermediate) Annual Examination 2026 on 13 February 2026, with a total of 13,17,846 candidates registering and appearing across the state’s examination centres.

 

BSEB Class 12 Exams 2026 Conducted Across 1,762 Centres

The annual exams were held from 2 to 13 February 2026 in 1,762 examination centres statewide for students of Science, Commerce, and Arts streams. BSEB issued admit cards to all registered candidates, including 6,75,844 female students and 6,42,002 male students.

 

On the final day of examinations, 84 centres were operational in Patna district alone, where 73,963 candidates sat for language and elective papers in the first and second shifts of the day.

 

Exam Misconduct: Expulsions and Impersonators Across Districts

During the examination period, BSEB officials reported that 71 students were expelled from exam centres in 20 districtsfor violating examination rules and engaging in unfair practices. In addition, 14 impersonators were apprehendedacross eight districts for attempting to take exams on behalf of registered candidates.

 

These actions underscored the board’s strict enforcement policies designed to maintain examination integrity. The expulsions and arrests were carried out in coordination with centre invigilators and district authorities.

 

Shift Details and Subjects Covered

On the last day of exams, the first shift ran from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, covering various language subjects including Urdu, Maithili, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Magahi, Bhojpuri, Arabic, Persian, Pali, and Bangla for students under the additional subject group.

 

The second shift, held from 2 pm to 5:15 pm, included examinations in Computer Science, Multimedia & Web Technology, Yoga and Physical Education, and several vocational course subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Agriculture, Business Studies, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Home Science, Geography, Music, and Philosophy.

 

Next Scheduled Bihar Board Exams

Following the conclusion of the Class 12 exams, the Bihar Board is scheduled to conduct the Class 10 annual examinations from 17 to 25 February 2026, also in two daily shifts.
