The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducted the Class 10 Mathematics board exam 2026 across the state on 18 February 2026. The examination took place at 1,699 centres, with 15,12,687 students registered to appear, including 7,85,726 girls and 7,26,961 boys.
BSEB Class 10 Exam Conduct and Schedule
The Maths paper was administered in two shifts on the day, following the regular board exam timetable. The board ensured strict invigilation and fair conduct across all centres. Visually impaired students were provided a home science paper in place of mathematics and given additional time allowances per hour to complete their examination.
BSEB Class 10 Exam Incidents of Expulsions and Impersonation
While the overall conduct of the exam remained orderly, certain incidents were reported:
- Six students were expelled from centres in Bhojpur district for using unfair means during the exam.
- Three impersonators were caught across the state, two in Banka district and one in Nawada district for appearing in place of genuine candidates.
These measures reflect the board’s zero-tolerance policy for malpractice and efforts to uphold the integrity of board examinations.
What’s Next in the BSEB Class 10 Schedule?
The board will continue the Matric Annual Examination 2026 with Second Indian Language papers in subsequent days, conducted in similar two shifts. Students are advised to follow all exam day guidelines, arrive at centres well before reporting time, and adhere strictly to examination rules to avoid disqualification.
