The BITS Admission Test 2026 will be conducted for entry into B.E, B.Pharm, and Integrated M.Scprogrammes across campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai. The registration process has started on the official admissions portal.

Candidates who have completed or are appearing for Class 12 in 2025 or 2026 can apply, subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria. The last date to apply for BITSAT 2026 Session 1 or both sessions is March 16, 2026.

BITSAT 2026 Exam Dates and Sessions

BITSAT 2026 will be conducted in two sessions to provide flexibility to aspirants. Candidates can choose to appear in one session or both, as per preference.

The exam schedule for BITSAT 2026 is as follows:

  • BITSAT Session 1 exam dates: April 15 to 17, 2026
  • BITSAT Session 2 exam dates: May 24 to 26, 2026

BITSAT 2026 will be held as a 3-hour computer-based multiple-choice test.

BITSAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must carefully check the eligibility requirements before filling out the application form. Only those fulfilling academic conditions will be considered for admission.

Applicants must have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in PCM or PCB in Class 12. In addition, candidates must score at least 60% marks in each subject. Only students who meet both aggregate and subject-wise criteria are eligible.

BITSAT 2026 Registration and Test Centres

BITSAT 2026 registration is currently open on admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The application process is completely online. Candidates will be able to select their preferred exam centre, date, and slot during the slot booking window.

The BITSAT exam will be conducted at multiple test centres across India, Nepal, and Dubai, giving candidates a wide choice of locations.

BITSAT 2026 Admission Process and Selection

Admission to BITS Pilani first-degree programmes is primarily based on the BITSAT score. However, BITS Pilani also offers direct admission to board toppers, as per institute norms.

In addition, international candidates can seek admission through the International Student Admission (ISA) scheme, which follows a separate selection process.

Important Points for BITSAT 2026 Aspirants

Candidates are advised to apply before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues. Appearing in both sessions can improve admission chances, as the best of the two scores is generally considered during counselling. Applicants should regularly check official updates related to registration, slot booking, and counselling to stay informed about the admission process.
