The Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) has started conducting the Bihar STET 2025 examination from October 14 to November 16, 2025, across nine districts of the state. The exam is being held in two shifts daily — morning and afternoon — for both Paper 1 (Classes 9–10 teachers) and Paper 2 (Classes 11–12 teachers). The Bihar STET 2025 exam analysis is being compiled based on candidates’ feedback, question paper pattern, and difficulty level. The exam aims to determine teacher eligibility for secondary and higher secondary schools under the Bihar government.

The Bihar STET 2025 exam consists of two papers, each carrying a total of 150 marks. The exam pattern remains the same for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses. Candidates are allotted 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the paper.

 

Bihar STET 2025 Paper Difficulty & Expected Cut-off

As per initial feedback from candidates, the overall difficulty level of the Bihar STET 2025 exam was moderate. Questions from the specific subject section were found to be conceptual, while the Teaching Ability and Reasoning sections were relatively easy to moderate.

 

Expected Good Attempts:

  • Paper 1: 95–110 questions
  • Paper 2: 90–105 questions

Expected Cut-off (General Category):

  • Paper 1: 85–90 marks
  • Paper 2: 80–88 marks

The official cut-off and result will be released later on the BSEB website after the completion of all shifts.
