Bihar BTSC Staff Nurse Admit Card 2026 Released for Document Verification

The Bihar Technical Services Commission (BTSC) has officially released the admit card for the document verification process related to the recruitment of staff nurses, as outlined in Advertisement No. 23/2025. This step follows the successful completion of the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted for positions within the Health Department of Bihar. Candidates who have qualified for this stage are now required to participate in the document verification process, which is crucial for finalizing their appointments.

The document verification will occur in two daily shifts, specifically from 10:00 AM to 01:30 PM and from 02:00 PM to 05:30 PM. This process will take place at the BTSC office located on Harding Road in Patna. Candidates who have been shortlisted based on the category-wise merit list must adhere to the schedule published on the Commission's official website.

To download their call letters, candidates need to log into the official portal using their application or registration number, registered mobile number, and date of birth. It is important to note that access requires an OTP authentication sent to the registered mobile number. Candidates will not be allowed entry into the verification premises without their call letter.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

In light of the recent amendments to the eligibility criteria under the revised Bihar Nursing Cadre Rules, the minimum qualifications for applicants have been updated. Candidates must have completed General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institute. Additionally, those holding a B.Sc. in Nursing are also eligible to apply. It is essential for applicants to be registered with any Union or State Nursing Council at the time of application. However, registration with the Bihar Nursing Registration Council is mandatory prior to appointment.

Required Documents for Verification

During the verification process, candidates must present original certificates along with two self-attested copies. The following documents are required:

  • Matriculation certificate
  • Identity proof
  • Address proof
  • Educational qualification certificates
  • Mark sheets
  • Nursing registration certificate
  • Caste or reservation certificates (if applicable)
  • Work experience certificates in the prescribed format
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof for claims such as dependency on a freedom fighter
  • A copy of the online application form
  • Recent photographs

It is crucial for candidates to ensure that they have all the required documents, as failure to produce original educational qualification documents or valid nursing registration certificates will lead to disqualification. Furthermore, candidates whose qualifications do not meet the prescribed criteria will also be rejected.

Compliance and Disqualification Rules

Strict adherence to the verification process is mandatory. Candidates are advised to attend strictly according to their allotted date and shift to ensure a smooth verification process. Work experience benefits will only be granted if the certificates are issued in the specified format by authorized officials. Additionally, reservation benefits require valid certificates issued by competent authorities of the state.

It is imperative for candidates to prepare thoroughly for this verification stage, as any discrepancies in documentation could jeopardize their chances of securing a position as a staff nurse within the Bihar Health Department.
