Bihar Board 10th Result 2026 Pass Percentage and Key Highlights
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the Class 10 results on 29 March 2026. The overall pass percentage stood at 81.79%, reflecting a steady academic performance across the state. More than 15 lakh students appeared for the examination, out of which over 12.35 lakh candidates successfully passed. The exams were conducted at multiple centres across Bihar, and the evaluation process was completed in a short timeframe, enabling timely result declaration.
Girls Outperform Boys in BSEB Matric Result 2026
The result analysis shows that girls outperformed boys in overall performance. A total of 6,34,353 girls passed, compared to 6,01,390 boys. Girls also dominated the merit list, continuing the trend of strong academic performance among female students in Bihar. In terms of participation, more girls appeared in the exam than boys, highlighting increasing enrolment and performance of female students in secondary education.
Bihar Board 10th Toppers and Merit List Details
The board has also released the toppers list along with the results. The top rank was jointly secured by students scoring 492 marks (98.4%), indicating high competition among candidates. A total of 139 students featured in the top 10 ranks, showcasing a competitive performance across districts. The merit list includes detailed information such as student names, ranks, and marks obtained in the examination.
