The Assam State School Education Board, Division-II, has announced the Higher Secondary Final Examination 2026 schedule for Class 12 students. The board released the complete timetable along with morning and afternoon shift details. The exams will start on 11 February 2026 and continue till 16 March 2026. Practical exams will take place from 27 January 2026 to 7 February 2026.
The Assam Class 12 2026 timetable covers all streams, including Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational subjects. The board has also issued clear instructions regarding exam duration, extra reading time, and subject groups.
Assam HS Final Exam 2026: Complete Date-Wise Schedule
The exams will be held in two shifts:
- Morning shift: 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
- Afternoon shift: 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Important Instructions for Students
Before checking the subject-wise schedule, students should note the exam guidelines issued by the board. These rules explain shifts, subject groups, and paper formats.
Key instructions include:
- Exams for 30/50/60-mark papers will run from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. (morning) and 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.(afternoon).
- 10 minutes of extra reading time will be provided from 8.50 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. and 1.20 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.
- MIL subjects include Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Garo, Hmar, Hindi, Khasi, Manipuri, Mizo, Nepali, Urdu, and Karbi.
- Music groups A, B, and C include classical, folk, dance, and instrumental categories.
- Vocational subjects cover areas such as Agri Engineering, Accountancy & Auditing, Automobile Technology, Commercial Art, Electrical Mechanic, Office Management, Computer Technique, and others.
- NSOF subjects include IT-ITeS, Retail, Agriculture, Automotive, Healthcare, Electronics, BFSI, Beauty & Wellness, Physical Education, Tourism & Hospitality, and Apparel.
Practical Examination Dates
The practical exams for all institutions under ASSEB, Division-II, will be held from 27 January 2026 to 7 February 2026. These practicals apply to students registered in the 2024–25 academic session.
The Assam HS Final Examination 2026 will be conducted across all affiliated institutions as per the official notification. Students are advised to prepare according to the schedule and follow all exam guidelines issued by the board.
