Key Highlights of Ashoka University UG Admissions 2026
Expanded Merit and Need-Based Scholarships
The university has announced 500 scholarships, including 200 merit-based awards introduced for the first time. All awardees remain eligible for additional need-based assistance.
Special Merit Scholarships (50)
- 100% tuition fee waivers for exceptional achievers in JEE Mains, IISER (IAT), CMI, and Indian National Olympiads (INO).
- Qualifying Criteria:
- Minimum 98%ile in JEE Mains
- Top 2000 rank in IISER Aptitude Test
- Top 100 rank in CMI Entrance Exam
- Qualified for the INO Training Camp in Mathematics, Science, Astronomy, Linguistics, or Informatics
Achievers’ Merit Scholarships (150)
- Up to 100% tuition fee waivers based on holistic performance in Ashoka’s admissions process and school board results.
- Qualifying Criteria:
- 98% or above in CBSE, ICSE/ISC Class X and XII (final or predicted) board scores
- Strong performance in the Ashoka University admissions assessments
Need-Based Scholarships
- Up to 100% tuition fee or full waiver for students requiring financial assistance.
- Assessment considers family income, savings, investments, and education loans to bridge the gap between cost and affordability.
Four Application Rounds
Applications will be accepted across four rounds from 13 October 2025 to 31 May 2026, giving candidates multiple opportunities to apply.
Centre-Based Admissions Assessments
- For Indian residents, assessments will be conducted at 37 physical centres nationwide.
- Non-resident applicants can choose the option “I am not a resident of India.”
- Special accommodations are available for candidates with physical disabilities or mobility impairments.
