Ashoka Aptitude Test 2026 Round 3 Registration Open Until April 22

Ashoka University has started Round III registration for the Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026, which is conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes. Interested candidates seeking admission for the August 2026 intake can complete their application through the university’s official admission portal. According to the admission schedule, the last date to apply for Round III is 22 April 2026, while the assessment for this round is scheduled to be conducted on 03 May 2026.

 

Ashoka Aptitude Test 2026 Round 3: Important Dates and Schedule

Ashoka University conducts the admission process in multiple rounds to give applicants several opportunities to apply. Each round includes application submission, assessment, and decision notification stages. Key dates related to the current admission round are listed below:

  • Round III application deadline: 22 April 2026
  • AAT Round III assessment date: 03 May 2026
  • Decision notification: 10 June 2026
  • Offer confirmation deadline: 01 July 2026
  • Last date of admission for the intake: 05 August 2026

Students who miss the Round III deadline may still apply through Round IV, which remains open until 31 May 2026.

 

What is the Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT)?

The Ashoka Aptitude Test (AAT) is a university-level entrance assessment conducted by Ashoka University to evaluate candidates applying for undergraduate programmes such as BA and BSc. The exam is designed to assess analytical ability, reasoning skills, and writing capability. The assessment generally includes:

  • Ashoka Aptitude Assessment (AAA): Multiple-choice questions evaluating critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • On-the-Spot Essay (OSE): A short written essay assessing clarity of thought and expression
  • Personal Interview: Conducted after the assessment for shortlisted candidates

The aptitude assessment usually lasts 90 minutes, followed by a 30-minute essay writing component.

Candidates interested in applying for the entrance assessment must complete the application process through the official university portal. Before starting the application, students should ensure that they have the required academic and personal information ready. Steps to apply include:

  3. Fill out the UG admission application form with academic details
  4. Upload the required documents and photograph
  5. Review the application and submit it before the deadline

After submitting the application, shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for the Ashoka Aptitude Test and subsequent interview stage, which together determine the final admission decision.
