Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Posts like Electrician, Telecom Mechanic, Automobile Mechanic, Engineer Gear Mechanic, Machinist, Fitter, Welder, Upholster, Tin & Copper Smith require 10+2 pass with ITI certificate or relevant armed forces experience.
• Lower Division Clerk: 12th pass with typing speed 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
• Fireman: Matriculation plus relevant firefighting training and physical fitness.
• Cook, Tradesman Mate, Washerman: Matriculation with relevant skills.

DG EME Group C Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in four stages:

1. Written Examination (OMR-based) – 150 marks, 2 hours, in Hindi and English, covering General Intelligence, General Awareness, English, Numerical Aptitude, and Trade-specific topics.
2. Skill Test/Physical Test (Qualifying) – Job-specific trade skills; Fireman candidates will undergo physical efficiency tests.
3. Document Verification – Verification of educational, caste, PwBD, domicile, and other certificates.
4. Medical Examination – Fitness test by medical board.

Physical Standards for Fireman

• Height: 165 cm (male), 155 cm (female)
• Chest: Unexpanded 81.5 cm, Expanded 85 cm
• Weight: Minimum 50 kg
• Endurance Test: Carry 63.5 kg over 183 meters in 96 seconds, long jump 2.7 meters, rope climb 3 meters.
