How to Apply for AP TET 2025?
Candidates must complete the online registration process through the official portal. The application involves payment, form filling, and document upload. Steps to Apply for AP TET 2025:
- Visit the official website — aptet.apcfss.in
- Click on the ‘Payment Link’ and pay the examination fee.
- After successful payment, note down the Candidate ID.
- Go to the ‘Application’ tab and click on ‘Candidate Login’.
- Enter Candidate ID, date of birth, and verification code to log in.
- Complete the AP TET application form and upload scanned documents.
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
AP TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for AP TET 2025, candidates must hold the minimum educational qualifications prescribed for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 8, as outlined below.
For Paper 1A (Classes 1–5):
- Intermediate or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Intermediate/Senior Secondary with 45% marks and 2-year D.El.Ed.
- OR Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
For Paper 1B (Special Education):
- Intermediate/Senior Secondary with a 2-year D.Ed. Special Education.
- OR Diploma in Community-Based Rehabilitation with a 6-month course in education for special needs.
- OR Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf or Visual Impairment.
AP TET 2025 Application Fee
Candidates must pay an application fee of INR 750 through the online payment gateway between February 8 and 18, 2025, before filling out the application form.
AP TET 2025 Exam Date and Schedule
The AP TET 2025 exam will begin on December 10, 2025. The test will be held in two sessions each day:
- Session 1: 9:30 AM to 12 Noon
- Session 2: 2:30 PM to 5 PM
AP TET 2025 Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted in a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format, with each question carrying one mark. There will be no negative marking.
- Paper 1: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5.
- Paper 2: For candidates intending to teach Classes 6 to 8.
- Candidates with both D.El.Ed and B.Ed qualifications can appear for both papers.
