AP SSC Exams 2026 Begin, Over 6.4 Lakh Students Appear for Class 10 Boards

The Andhra Pradesh SSC (Class 10) board examinations 2026 began on March 16, with over 6.4 lakh students appearing at 3,415 exam centres across the state. The exams will continue until April 1, 2026, under strict monitoring and security arrangements.

The Andhra Pradesh Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations 2026 commenced on March 16 across the state, with more than 6.4 lakh Class 10 students participating. The examinations are being conducted at 3,415 centres under the supervision of the Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP).Authorities have made elaborate arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams, including the deployment of flying squads, CCTV monitoring and medical support teams at examination centres.

 

AP SSC 2026 Exam Schedule

According to the official timetable, the AP SSC exams will run from March 16 to April 1, 2026. Each exam will be conducted in a single shift from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PMThe first paper conducted on the opening day is the First Language exam. Subsequent exams will cover subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science.

 

AP SSC Security and Monitoring Measures

To prevent malpractice and ensure fairness, authorities have implemented several precautionary measures. These include:

  • CCTV surveillance at exam centres
  • Flying inspection squads
  • Strict monitoring by education officials
  • Medical teams on standby

These measures aim to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process across the state

 

Important Instructions for Students

Students appearing for the SSC board exams must carry essential items and follow exam rules carefully.

 

Mandatory items:

  • Printed SSC hall ticket
  • Blue or black ballpoint pen
  • Basic stationery

Prohibited items:

  • Mobile phones
  • Smartwatches and electronic devices
  • Calculators or unauthorised materials

Candidates are advised to reach exam centres at least one hour before the exam begins to complete verification procedures.
