AP Special TET 2026 Registration Begins for In-Service Teachers

The AP Special TET 2026 registration process has started from August 25 for eligible in-service teachers in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can submit applications until September 24, 2026.

The Special TET is being conducted for eligible teachers appointed before 2011 who need to fulfil the mandatory TET qualification requirement. The examination will be held in computer-based mode from October 11 to October 21, 2026.

Who Can Apply for AP Special TET 2026?

The examination is specifically for eligible in-service teachers appointed before 2011 who do not have a valid TET certificate.

Eligible teachers can be working in:

• Government schools
• Local body schools
• APREIS institutions
• Government welfare residential schools
• AP Model Schools
• Private aided schools
• Schools managed by other government departments

The Special TET qualification is intended to fulfil the TET requirement for continuation in the present post or promotion. It cannot be used for future direct recruitment.

AP Special TET 2026 Application Fee

Candidates have to pay ₹1,000 for each paper they choose.

The fee can be paid online through the application portal.

AP Special TET 2026 Exam Schedule

The examination will be conducted in two sessions from October 11 to October 21.

The hall ticket will be available from October 5, 2026.
