AP PGLCET 2026 Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme and Duration

The AP PGLCET 2026 exam will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions and will be conducted in computer-based mode for 90 minutes. The exam is organised by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
Candidates preparing for AP PGLCET 2026 must understand the exam pattern to prepare effectively for the entrance test. The Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to Master of Laws (LLM) programmes offered by universities and affiliated law colleges across Andhra Pradesh. The examination is organised by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, on behalf of **Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). According to the official schedule, the AP PGLCET 2026 exam will be conducted on May 4, 2026 in online mode. AP PGLCET 2026 Exam Pattern Overview
The exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) with multiple-choice questions.

What Happens After the Exam?
After the exam is conducted, the authorities will release the preliminary answer key on May 7, 2026. Candidates will be allowed to review the answer key and submit objections until May 9, 2026. Once the objections are reviewed, the final answer key will be published and the AP PGLCET 2026 results will be declared on May 18, 2026. Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission to LLM programmes in universities and law colleges across Andhra Pradesh.
