The schedule for AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET 2026 has been officially released for candidates seeking admission to law programmes in Andhra Pradesh. The entrance tests are conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). According to the official announcement, the notification regarding the exam was published in newspapers on 10 February 2026, and the online application process began on 12 February 2026. Candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate law courses in Andhra Pradesh must register through the official portal before the deadline.

AP LAWCET / AP PGLCET Application Process and Eligibility

The AP LAWCET 2026 exam is conducted for admission to three-year and five-year LLB programmes, while AP PGLCET 2026 is held for admission to LLM courses offered by universities and affiliated colleges in the state. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities, including the required educational qualifications and age conditions. Candidates must carefully fill in the application form with accurate personal and academic details during the registration process. The authorities also allow a correction window on 8 April 2026, enabling candidates to modify certain details in their application forms if required.

AP LAWCET / AP PGLCET Hall Ticket and Exam Details

Candidates who successfully submit their applications will be able to download their hall tickets from 20 April 2026 through the official entrance exam portal. The computer-based entrance test will be conducted on 4 May 2026 at multiple examination centres across Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must carry a printed copy of their hall ticket along with a valid photo identity proof to the exam centre.
