AP EdCET 2025 Counselling Begins: BEd Admission Process, Dates & Steps

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has started the AP EdCET 2025 counselling for qualified candidates seeking admission into BEd and BEd Special Education programs. The process, conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, will include registration, certificate verification, web option entry, and seat allotment.

 

AP EdCET 2025 Counselling Schedule

Steps to Register for AP EdCET 2025 Counselling

Candidates who qualified the entrance exam can now complete their counselling registration by following the steps below:

  1. Visit the official website:cets.apsche.ap.gov.in
  2. Pay the processing fee online (₹1200 for OC/BC; ₹600 for SC/ST/PH).
  3. Upload scanned copies of original certificates.
  4. Complete online verification or attend physical verification if applying under special categories.
  5. Exercise web options and freeze choices before the last date.

 

Eligibility Criteria for BEd Admission

The AP EdCET counselling process is open only to candidates fulfilling the following requirements:

  • Indian nationals meeting local/non-local AP status norms.
  • Minimum 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree (BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBM) or 55% marks for BTech/BE graduates.
  • Minimum 19 years of age as on 1 July 2025.
  • Relevant academic background in chosen methodology (Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Social Studies, or English).

 

Required Documents for Verification

Candidates must keep the following original documents ready for verification:

  • AP EdCET Hall Ticket and Rank Card
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Degree Marks and Provisional Certificate
  • Intermediate and SSC Marks Memo
  • Study Certificates (Class IX to Degree)
  • Residence Certificate
  • Income Certificate or Ration Card
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Special Category Certificates (if applicable)

All candidates are advised to complete registration and upload documents on time. Any discrepancy or false submission may result in rejection of candidature and legal action.
