AP 10th‑Grade Exam Schedule Updated for Ugadi & Ramzan: English Paper Postponed

The Andhra Pradesh Education Department has announced a revision to the AP 10th‑grade (SSC) public examination schedule for 2026 to accommodate the Ugadi and Ramzan festivals, the board confirmed on 7 February 2026.

Revised AP Class 10 Board Exam Timetable

The AP SSC Public Examinations 2026 will now be held from 16 March to 1 April 2026, with all papers conducted in the morning shift from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM. To avoid a clash with festival observances:

• The English exam, originally scheduled for 20 March 2026, has been postponed to 21 March 2026.

This adjustment aims to ensure students and families can celebrate Ugadi and Ramzan without exam conflicts while keeping the overall timetable intact. Students and educators have been advised to note the new date for the English paper and prepare accordingly for the remaining assessments

Full Schedule and Preparation Tips

According to the official timetable released earlier by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP), the Class 10 public exams cover major subjects including First Language, Second Language, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Most papers are scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, giving students ample time to manage their test preparations.

Students are advised to:

• Review the updated schedule carefully
• Download and save the official date sheet from the BSEAP website
• Plan study time effectively around the adjusted English test date

The revision reflects the board’s effort to balance academic evaluation with cultural and religious observances, providing students the opportunity to honour traditions without academic pressure.
