Amrita B.Tech Admission 2025: JEE Main Registration Extended to Aug 30

Amrita B.Tech admission 2025 through JEE Main 2025 has been extended to August 30, 2025. Eligible students can now apply for admission based on their JEE Main scores, with 30% of seats in each branch reserved for them. The remaining 70% seats are allocated via the university’s own AEEE exam. This extension is designed to provide students with more flexibility following the release of JEE Main results. It also caters to aspirants who may have missed earlier deadlines but still wish to secure admission across Amrita’s eight campuses.

Key Features of the Amrita B.Tech Admission 2025, Extended Deadline

Amrita’s centralised seat allotment process continues for eight campuses, including Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Amaravati, Faridabad, Haridwar, and Nagercoil. Applicants must fulfil age and academic criteria to be considered:

  • Age eligibility: Candidates born between July 1, 2003 and June 30, 2009.
  • Minimum aggregate in PCM: 60%, with at least 55% in each subject. However, for second or later counselling rounds, students scoring 50–55% in one subject remain eligible provided the overall aggregate stays at 60%

Three new BTech programmes in advanced technologies—Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (Autonomous Agents & Robotic Systems), (Quantum Technologies), and (Cyber-Physical Systems & Security), have also been added this year.

Amrita B.Tech Admission 2025, Campus-Wise Admission Mode

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers B.Tech admissions in various areas, including its campuses in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Kochi. Admission modes change, with entry based on JEE Main, AEEE, or state-level exams depending on the campus and round. This flexibility ensures that students from different academic pathways can secure a seat in their preferred branch and location. Amrita conducts admissions by two routes:

  • AEEE (Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering): Primarily held in January and April.
  • JEE Main option: Now open with a deadline extension to August 30.

This dual mode gives students the flexibility to choose their admission route, depending on their preparation and performance.

What Amrita B.Tech 2025 Candidates Must Do Next?

With the registration timeline extended and eligibility criteria relaxed, students aiming for Amrita B.Tech 2025 are advised to complete the application process by August 30, 2025. Students are required to review the updated eligibility criteria, select their preferred campuses, and prepare for the counselling rounds. Students are required to stay alert to official notifications, as these will be crucial in avoiding missing important dates and seat allotment opportunities.

  • Initiate the online registration process immediately on the official admission portal.
  • Ensure academic documents and JEE Main scorecards are ready for submission.
  • Complete choices during the seat allotment phase under the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP).
