The program is set to commence in the upcoming 2025-2026 academic session. It will impact multiple engineering colleges affiliated with AKTU across Uttar Pradesh for B.Tech., Management, and Pharmacy students.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University has introduced multiple subjects across various domains as elective and minor courses for students who are pursuing Management, Pharmacy, and B.Tech programs.

The recently approved courses by the academic council include Astronomy, Vedic mathematics, Indian music, women's health, and multiple other subjects focused on fostering overall development among young candidates. In addition to the main subjects of management engineering and pharmacy, students will also receive information about different fields to promote their overall development.

These subjects would be taught using online study materials and mentoring. In a collaborative effort with Raj Bhavan, a minor course focusing on women's health will also be introduced. The university has completed preparations for this initiative.

As part of this initiative, a minor course in space science is also in the pipeline, with preparations currently underway. After completing such courses, new avenues of Employment will open up for the students.

The introduction of these courses is part of a broader effort to integrate the Indian knowledge system into the curriculum, which encompasses rich cultural and philosophical traditions, including philosophy, science, art, medicine, and mathematics.
