The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2026. Candidates can now submit their application forms till November 9, 2025, through the official website — exams.nta.nic.in/sainik-school-society. The entrance exam will be held on January 18, 2026 (Sunday), for admission to Class 6 and Class 9 in Sainik Schools and newly affiliated institutions across India for the academic session 2026–27.

NTA Extends Deadline After Student Requests
According to the official NTA notice, the extension has been made after several representations from students and parents seeking more time for registration. The agency stated, “In continuation of the public notice dated October 10, 2025, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of the online application form for AISSEE 2026, enabling aspiring candidates to apply.”
Correction Window Rules
During the correction period, applicants will be allowed to modify select fields. However, details such as name, mobile number, email ID, and address cannot be changed.

This year, three new Sainik Schools have been added under the affiliation scheme:

- Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Vasco-Goa, Goa (residential)
- Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Beed district, Maharashtra (day boarding)
